General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

A bug bite can cause an inflammatory swelling which leads to swelling and redness. It is our body's normal response to fight the foreign antigen. Usually it will not cause discomfort exept at the site of bite. Occasionally this may lead to severe allergic reaction which is life threatening.

Vomiting is a bad sign. I suggest you to take her to to ER. She needs a dose of antihistamines.

Take care.

If you have any other queries, feel free to contact me. I'll be happy to help you.

Regards,
Dr. Prathap Kumar
