21 year old male with pain inside the belly button with redness inside the belly button area with thin reddish line from belly button to inch or two below. No issues with bowel movement (stool is regular). No issues with urination. No bulge showing a hernia. No fever.
The redness in belly button is suggestive of omphalitis (infection of the umbilicus), which can present without fever as well. Needs prescription of necessary antibiotics as penicillin, cephalosporin, doxycycline or else as per the choice of your family physician and supportive care of local hygiene with polymycin cream after thorough antiseptic cleaning.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
