Suggest Treatment For Reducing Difficulty In Retracting Foreskin

Hi, I'm Samuel McCallister.

I have a problem with my foreskin, I think it's known as a 'skin bridge'. I am not circumcised and I'm 17 years old. The problem is that there is a stretch of skin (about half an inch long) that is stuck to the tip of my penis. This is resulting in me not being able to retract my foreskin. I don't know what to do, it's really frustrating me, please help. Thanks.

Hello
Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have described I would state that inability to retract foreskin over the glans is mostly due to presence of a band of adhesion between Glans penis and Frenulum .

However this needs to be confirmed by clinical examination by a qualified General Surgeon ..

It can be cured with a small surgery of Frenuloplasty done under local anesthesia .

This is a simple surgery done under local anaesthesia as a out patient procedure and offers permanent cure .
