Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have restless leg syndrome. I have been taking Mirapex 0.25 mg. and I feel they have gotten worse and the doctor is changing my RX to Neurontin. Should this help? I m off Miraplex till next week to get it out of my system before starting Neurontin. I was up all night with the problem...no sleep. Today, the same. Can you tell me something I can do to help in the meantime?

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Sonia Dhawan's Response
Hi,
90 degree elevation of your legs for half an hour before sleep, and compression stockings will help at present. Start working out on strengthening of your leg muscles.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
