Suggest Treatment For Restricted Movement In The Upper Arm

I feel on my upper right arm a week and a half ago, ( on the ice) and since that time I have trouble lifting my arm over my head. Could I have broken something or is it most likely bruised tissue? I take several advil several time a day to help with the pain.

Hello,

Are you saying that you had a fall on the ice hurting your arm? If so then there is a possibility that because of the injury to the shoulder, or a ligament or some other part of it, there is restriction of movement. Taking only painkillers repeatedly is not good. Better to get it examined and initiate proper treatment if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhakar Laxman Jathar
