Suggest Treatment For Retropharyngeal Abscess In Neck
i was just diagnosis with retropharyngeal abscess in my neck and I have a lump in my neck were it hurts so bad were I can barley move it, I been takin clindamycin 300mg every 6 hours along with ibuprofen 200mgs takin 4 of those to add up to 800 mgs for swellin and am also usein ice, what I am wondering can this go away on its own by doin what I am doin for it right now? im very worried.

If this is lymph node because of infection then this would be fine after treating the condition either surgically or medically this won go away on its own, but if you take the course of medicine for this then there won't be any problem, hope this information helps, take care.
