Suggest Treatment For Rheumatoid Arthritis And Fibromyalgia
HI. I have been diagnosed with RA And Fibromyalgia. I get episodes but even my rheumatologist cannot tell me what they are - what causes them. The severity and frequency is increasing. They are bi-lateral, from my wrists up my arms now extending to the neck. Crushing Pain and debiltating - now lasting about 5 minutes. When they first started 19 years ago, they lasted a nano-second. Any ideas?
Fibromyalgia is necessarily a condition in which the affected muscles change to fibrosis in irreversible fashion meaning the affected muscles cannot revert back to normal hence causing pains. One of the most common reasons for fibromyalgia is stress and anxiety. Hence, you should identify the factors that increase your psychological problems and control these.
Rheumatoid arthritis is also enhance by the same factors. The cause of rheumatoid arthritis is known and you may have to continue the treatment with anti-inflammatory with painkiller properties as and when needed. Identify foods, beverages, factors that instigate or enhance the problems and stop or avoid these at any cost to have better life. Change the life style to suit your personality.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
