Hi, I am supposed to have rheumatoid arthritis, have taken salazopyrin then had to stop because of my liver. Now have been prescribed methotrexate and was told to stop once again. 3 months on I have been told to give the methotrexate another try, I have not taken because I am terrified of the side effects. I do not have any stiffness in the morning, have had a knee problem for years no cartilage on one side but have managed as I am a smaller person 42kg, my spec., gives an injection now and again. The worst problem are my feet having had bad bunions fixed on both feet, bad pins needles numbing and cold. What I am asking do you think this is a nerve problem rather than rheumatoid arthritis, due to my drinking too much wine. I am 71 years old, retired but don t sit around.
