Suggest Treatment For Rib Pain, Muscle Pain And Breathing Difficulty
I have extreme tenderness in the ribs and muscles and tissue on my left side. Both front and back. It comes and goes but is always a little tender. Seems inflamed. Deep breathing becomes difficult and coughing and sneezing make it worse. It seems to come in attacks that last for days. Thanks for any ideas. YYYY@YYYY
Rib pain associated with muscular pain in indicative of inflammation, injury, tendon/ligament strain, pinched nerve, intercostal muscular pain, gastritis or fracture. If fracture you will be treated accordingly. Get X-Ray, CT, MRI done. Stay at rest, do not do stretch exercises. Take antacids, PPI's to get relieve if the pain is due to gastritis. Avoid eating raw fruits & salads. Take acetaminophen & muscle relaxant for relieve, apply pain relieving spray ointment locally. Maintain weight, correct posture, do regular exercises.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
