As per my clinical experience, the lung cancer is not a hereditary condition. The deep vein thrombosis once cured and under regular surveillance, will not pause any issues of lung cancer. The vigilant care as well help to save body from possible pulmonary embolism future episodes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
