Suggest Treatment For Right Shoulder Pain

I have right shoulder pain. I have had an intermittent dull ache for years, but recently the pain has increased. For the past week (or so) the pain has increased to the point where my shouler is tender to touch. To the touch, the pain feels like a buise to the upper, front area of my shoulder. I have not had a specific injury that I am able to associate the pain with. I do run and work out, but no obvious injury. The pain actually feels better when I stretch my arm over my head.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve in the shoulder. I suggest using an anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest to consult a neurologist if the symptoms continue.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
