General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Unilateral headache of severe intensity with normal CT and MRI can be part of possible migraine or other functional causes in which radiology do not reveal positive findings. Treatment is focused on clinical diagnosis, however:
- Hot liquids containing caffeine
- Strong analgesic as tramadol hydrochloride with acetaminophen
- Specific molecules as ergotamine or others after physician decision are routine measures with best results

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
