Suggest Treatment For Ringing In The Ears

Hi, I have a lot of pressure and discomfort in my right ear along with loud ringing and hearing loss. The pain has started to spread out behind the back of my outer ear and down my neck and I experience a lot of popping. I have had my GP check my ear several times over the course of the last year but he always says it looks fine. It s starting to affect my way of life. Any ideas what it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pressure in your ear could be related to any possible problem with the inner ear that cannot be distinguished through a routine examination by your physician.

I suggest consulting further with neurologist and ENT doctor.

Spondyloarthrosis should be ruled out by X-ray and MRI of the neck spinal cord.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
