Suggest Treatment For Runny Nose And Chest Congestion In Infant

Hello.. I have a daughter who wil be one year old in ten days.. i believe she has congestion as she is snorting while i breastfeed her and is also having runny nose.. her dr once prescribed Ambrodil S.. i want to know wil it help if there is congestion. also she cries a lot and does not take medicine without three people holding her. Is there a quick sure shot home treatment or cure. she had caught cold a week back but we din go to dr to check if she was clear on the congestion or sore throat. please please suggest a really good syrup for cold cough and congestion.

i can understand your concern.
congestion of the lungs and infections of the respiratory tract are very common during childhood.
i would like to know if there is wheeze audible when your daughter breathes. if yes she is required to be put on nebulisation with a broncho dilator like asthalin.
ambrodil s is a good cough expectorant and broncho dilator ,so continue t.
she would require an antibiotic like augmentin(amoxicillin+clavulanate) for the infection to subside.
