Suggest Treatment For Runny Nose While Having G6PD Deficiency
Hi Doc,kondekar my son has G6PD today he had a runny nose seems like water come from he s nose..hes age is 1yr and 7month weight 10.5kg our health center give me amoxicillin trihydrate axmel..Doctor my question is this medicine are safe for A G6PD patients or not? I been searching an hr now..Pls.help me I ll your answer thank you.

It could be an allergic rhinitis and not related to G6PD. As a first line management you can take drugs like cetrezine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persists you can consult an ENT specialist and evaluated.
