Suggest Treatment For Scaly Rash On Scalp

I have a scaly rash on my scalp. Thought it was dandruff, tried Head & Shoulders and Selsun Blue Medicated. Did nothing. Finally I tried a Psoriasis shampoo but it has done nothing. It flakes like Dandruff, but itches like crazy. Any suggestions? YYYY@YYYY

Hi, welcome to HCM,
Scaly scalp is commonly due to Seborrheic dermatitis of scalp or psoriasis.
I will advise you to wash your hair with Ketoconazole+coal tar containing shampoo.
Apply in wet hair, and wash after five minutes.
Apply clobetasol+salicylic acid lotion twice daily.
Apply Oxiconazole cream once daily.
