Suggest Treatment For Sciatic Pain Tends To Radiate More Down The Leg
I have been in serious pain for 18 weeks now and the doctor thinks it s sciatica. I am gebapantin but it doesn t stop the pain. I also have a clunking sound in my spine. The pain is just below my left buttock and all the way down my leg. I have to stand up most of the time
From the given description, it appears to be a condition of slipped disc. Better to consult an orthopedic doctor and get proper investigations done like an x- ray and other tests that doctor will suggest. Please do not make your own guess. Because if there is slipped disc and if it is pressing on a nerve root pain will not go away with only drugs. Needs some additional treatment including a surgery. So please do consult the orthopedic surgeon.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Prabhakar Laxman Jathar, Diabetologist
