Suggest Treatment For Scleroderma And Esophageal Hardening

I was preliminarily diagnosed by two doctors as possibly having scleroderma. They have referred me to a rheumatology doctor, still awaiting appointment, for their opinion. They found some traces of esophagusial hardening. If confirmed, how quickly does this disease spread throughout the remaining body? (life expectancy) I understand this disease mostly hits women and only about 300,000 have been diagnosed in the USA. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks!
