General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Dermatitis can be sometimes very resistant to treatment. There are local ointments and shampoos that can be tried. It would be very helpful to know which of these have you tried already so I can know what to recommend.
If local treatments do not help enough then oral treatment is started with steroids or immunosuppressors if all the other measures do not work.

I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. Let me know if I may assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
