Suggest Treatment For Seizure

Hello sir My bro is having encephalomacia and gliosis in left frontal lobe and he gets seizuers because of this .he is on medicine but still fits comes and doc says this problem can t be treated properly sir plz suggest me something for this he is 24 now and he had head injury in childhood but he is having seizuers from 8years .plz help me thanku

Hello

Gliosis and encephalomalacia are generally sequel of past injury to brain tissue.Injury may be in the form of infection,trauma,inflammation etc.
It may be due to trauma in your brother's case.

These specific finding are due to reparative mechanism in brain and these are irreversible findings.
Your brother may only need supportive conservative treatment.
He may need anti-epileptic medicines and symptomatic treatment.
