General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Head trauma can cause seizures. These may be temporary or permanent, depending on extent of injury to the brain and the degree of healing

If the medication that he is taking to control the seizures does not agree with him then he should speak to his doctor so that it can possibly be changed.

He should also speak to his doctor about his prognosis.

I hope this helps
