Suggest Treatment For Sensitive Bump In Eyelid After Injury

My grandson threw a hard plastic toy directly at my eye and it hit my eyebrow. Immediately I had swelling about the size of a nickel. After a couple hours the swelling went down mostly but then I had bruising down into my eyelid to the corner of my eye. Now 2 weeks later, the bruising is gone but I still have a bump in the area and it is sensitive to the touch. Should I have it examined? Do you think it could be cracked or chipped?

Hello,

Don't worry it may be a post traumatic tissue reaction. Use cold and warm compression. use eye drops for lubrication. It may subside slowly. If you observe any blurring of vision or burning of eye or eyelid please consult with your ophthalmologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
