Suggest Treatment For Sensitivity To Heat

I am feeling very cold but my body is warm, not flushed. We are in a heat wave. I am very sensitive to the heat, know the signs of overheating. I have done all the things like drinking water electrolytes eating tuna for the magnesium . I have clear head. The air conditioner which I love is too cold at the moment. I do have a thyroid problem taking medications for that.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think this feeling of cold may be related to thyroid hormone imbalance. It is time to recheck your thyroid function doing T3,T4 and TSH. Possibly you may need to take levothyroxine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
