Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have been experiencing severe cheat pain for last few days and pinching pain on the left side of my heart. My left arm gets numb and starts to pain. I have shortness of breath. I also have problem swallowing food. My back hurts and also the neck hurts badly. I have conaidered so many doctors.the ECG reports are negetive and the chest x ray is normal. No one is able to diagonise the problem. the blood report ia also negetive. Please suggest me what the problem is.
Considering the fact that your X ray and ECG reports are within normal limits, the possibility of any Respiratory or Cardiovascular pathology for your symptoms can be ruled out.
Under such circumstances, the symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to: 1. Gastrointestinal cause- due to accumulation of gas and excess acid formation in stomach. Symptomatic relief can be obtained with intake of Proton pump inhibitors like Pantoprazole, which prevent acid formation in stomach (to be taken before meals)+ antacid gel (to be taken after meals).
2. Spasm of the chest muscles- management will involve application of muscle relaxant gel & intake of analgesic (like Diclofenac) + Pantoprazole preparation.
So, kindly consult your Doctor and start treatment as advised. There is no need to worry, you will be fine. Take care.
