Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Bloating After A Miscarriage

I just had a miscarriage a few days ago.. it lasted about 1 and a half weeks until i finally passed the sac and a few days later i passed the placenta.. its been almost a week since the placenta came out and my bleeding is almost all gone.. im barley spotting. I have no pain but my stomach is very bloated it comes and goes but when it goes its still not all the way down like i use to be before i got pregnant.. i was only 7 weeks. How long will the bloating last and is it normal to have some very mild tenderness when i push on my lower stomach?

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
Certain degree of bloating is normal but in case of excessive bloating it may be sign of food allergy, hatal hernia ,IBS or inflammatory bowel diseases. So you should do gastroenterologic work up but first try to change your dietary habits, it means: eat smaller meals but more frequently, avoid fried and spicy food, take menta tea, avoid alcohol and coffee, eat probiotics and milk products, boiled food and vegetables. Also, there are medications such as Flobian, which may relieve such symptoms.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
