I have been having occasional stomach issues.. cramping and diarrhea. I had a colonoscopy and all was fine.. I had an ultrasound and all was fine! Lately.. I ve very lethargic.. sleeping more than normal.. loss of appetite.. feeling very depressed over all of this. What do you think or recommend I should do next? I look forward to your answer.. Sharon. PS... If this is just a scam please don t bother me.

Hi Sharon
Thanks for posting on HCM
I will start by saying this is not a scam.Your well being is our priority even if there is no physical contact.
Normal ultrasound and colonoscopy are normal findings even when you have an infectious digestive problem. These are test that mostly tell us more on structural abnormalities and very less useful with infections and functional problems.Diearrhea and abdominal cramps point more to an enteritis that could be caused by viral, bacterial or parasitic infections.I will suggest you get a stool exam and culture. This will help to identify the organism causing the problem. The other symptoms you present are probably due to loss of ions through stool. In the meantime, oral rehydration salt, zinc tables, some bananas may help improve on your stool.A pain medication like ibuprofen may help calm the pain while you prepare to see a Doctor for evaluation and work-up.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
