Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain And Coughing
My husband has been complaining of abdominal pain especially when coughing, sneezing or moving. He has no pain when lying down. He is very active, 58 years old. His stomach looks bloated or swollen to me. He gets sharp pains off and on during the day. His eating is ok and he has normal bowel movements. But I know he s in pain

The pain might be due to muscular pain arising out of violent coughing.
As a first line management you can take drugs like tramadol for pain relief.
If symptoms persists better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Expectorant cough syrups can be tried for symptomatic relief.
