Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain And Cysts On Ovary

Hi was at home Saturday and suddenly got awful abdominal pain was taken to hospital in ambulance and had various tests done then had an ultra sound scan and the gynecologist lady told me I have two cysts on my ovary and one is blood filled I was discharged on the Monday saying I should just take it easy I am still in a lot of pain now its Tuesday night but I was told I need to go to my doctors once they ve sent a letter to them for them to refer me to see a gynecologist for another ultrascan to see of they have gone but surely they shouldn t have sent me home to sit in pain? I don t know what I should do? I only have one ovary anyway

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The abdominal pain seemto be related ot the presence of cyst in the ovary.
I suggest to use a heating pad that can help ease cyst pain and menstrual cramping.
Applying a hot water bottle or heating pad to your lower abdomen.
I also suggest using an over the counter painkiller such as Ibuprofen 400 mg to relieve the pain.
