Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain Caused By Kidney Stone
I recently was in the ER for a kidney stone. It still has not yet passed. My pain has not been over a 4 since being in ER. If kidney stone is still in there but not causing pain do I call them and tell them so they can do another scan? It s been almost a week. Also I m having symptoms of sore throat and terrible headache. Could this be related to a kidney stone? Or should I get tested for strep throat?
Hello, Oh my - kidney stones are awful! depending upon the size of the stone and your pain threshold, I doubt that you would not notice it's passing. often what happens is it pops into the bladder, giving a temporary relief. I would make sure that your doctor has provided adequate pain medication, even perhaps an anti-inflammatory suppository as they work surprisingly well in this type of case! all the best for a speedy stone passage!
