Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain

I have occasional bouts of severe Abdominal pain in which I wind up in the ER. All CT SCANS, X-RAYS are always fine. After they give me IV pain killers I get better in about 12-24 hours. Any thoughts as to what this might be. The Drs in the ER are baffled. I had partial bowel removal 4 years ago due to an obstruction but these occrances are not an obstruction- no distention, no vomiting.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The functional bowel problem seems to be the reason for your case.

Now pain is over and no residual symptoms are present.

Hence no need to worry.

CT scan report is also fine.

So don't worry about that episode of abdominal pain.

Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
