Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am on a healthy eating plan .over the last 2 to 3 months have been getting annoying stomach pain I can be OK going to bed then get up to pee in the early morning and go back to bed then get the pain usually worse if on right side not to bad after I get up and about
Severe abdominal pain after peeing is commonly due to infection in the UTI (bladder or the kidney). Avoid taking caffeine or alcohol at bed time. They may trigger discomfort.
Stay away from addictions if any. Since you are on a diet plan, take nutritious food & stay hydrated. Do not stay empty stomach for it will cause Acid Reflux & abdominal pain.
Take antacids, PPI's, Omeprazole, if you feel you are having gastritis or acid reflux.
Visit ER, get physically examined. Get Blood tests & urine (R/E & C/S) examination done to rule out UTI. Your treatment will depend upon the severity of the pathology detected.
You may need antibiotics & other medical aid. Avoid sex if you are sexually active. Get treated first.
Avoid use of public toilets, take care of your hygiene.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
