Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pain

my mother recently had two more strokes and has been given 3 x daily depicate sprinkle pills...she is insisting these are the pills that are giving her great abdominal pain. She has had numerious strokes and has never been on this. She also had a situation the adult foster care did not change a temp increase in potassium which should have been 2xdaily for 14 days...ended up being about 6 wks before it was caught. could either of these cause low abdominal groin pain?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan to evaluate the cause for abdominal pain. The pills are not the cause for her symptoms. As of now, she can take analgesics like Tramadol for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
