Suggest Treatment For Severe Acne On The Face

Hi my name is pete,I work with heavy equiptment as a mechanic.I have a severe problem with breakouts only on my face.I am in a lot of grease and oil. I have used all kinds of face cleaners, but nothing seems to help , I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Hi,
thanks for writing to hcm.
Kindly visit a dermatologist for serious acne problems as the treatment may last 6 months.

The following medications are helpful in acne:
1. combination of topical treatments and oral antibiotics: Oral doxycycline tablets with a topical antibiotic.
1. A soap containing BHA (beta hydroxy acid)
2.Cream containing benzoyl peroxide - clears the skin
3. For scars - use a cream containing Kojic Acid
4. Azelaic acid

Kindly take the medications after consulting a doctor only.
