Suggest Treatment For Severe Allergic Reaction To Plavix
Hi, I have had a severe allergic reaction to Plavix after eight years. I then tried effient and in a short time period also had an allergic reaction, I must be on a blood thinner, I have had two TIA attacks. Information that I have read says that warfarin has few allergy reactions. Is this my only choice?
If you have not got any allergy from Warfarin then you may continue as other medicines to have side effects. However, there are a few newer blood thinners available [Dabigatran, Rivaroxaban, Apixaban]. You can consult once neurologist for this. Researches shows that 'Art of Living' sahaj meditation course by unknown mechanism can help to overcome the use of blood thinners.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
