Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety And Panic Attacks
I have severe anxiety. unable to forget the past. paranoia. I take Effexor, valium and trazadone and have for years. symptoms persist and I have started to drink to get relief. what do my symptoms sound like? don t feel that I have ever been diagnosed correctly. Had spinalmengitis at 8 months old and was in a comma for a week. could this be related?
I would be hard to say whether spinal meningitis at 8 months old could be related to this or not, I do not know of any studies that have looked at this, but I certainly think it is possible.
Regardless, I would recommend that you be under the care of a psychiatrist if you are not already.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician

Hello, It does sound like you have a generalized anxiety disorder, and depending on the severity of the paranoia, may be related to a personality disorder or another psychiatric disorder.
