My son krish is very intelligent in studies but we are shift here noida so in new school he is not able to adjust and starts weeping every morning and say feeling anxiety and low. l approach you so you give cipralex 5 mg daily at night he feel improve but at time to go for school he started weeping and say not to go to school. what I should do?
* The intake of Cipralex is just suppression of the symptoms, not cure.
* Actually Krish requires a holistic approach with
- suggestion and behavior therapy via an expert psychiatrist
- counseling sessions
- tender loving care to avoid separation anxiety which may be underlying in many of the instances
- diet care to avoid secondary nutritional deficiencies which can flare up the condition at bit more level
- supportive medications of the neurologic outcome as per the psychiatrist evaluation and guidelines only as there are attention deficit disorder, childhood issues of adjustment disorders so far as current DSM management guidelines are concerned.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
