Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety While On Clonazepam

I have just recently seen a medical Dr to be treated for anxiety resulting from the fact that I am about to purchase a new home that will require substantial remodeling to accommodate my wife who suffers from progressive MS I have been prescribed .5 mg clonazepam which I take 1 tablet before bed, and 10 mg predefined which I take once a day before dinner. I started these meds on Nov 14 and they have not taken the edge off as I had hoped. In fact I feel nauseous and lethargic and unstable. I plan to see the Dr soon to share these concerns but continue taking the meds hoping my symptoms will get better. Any advice?

Hello,

Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit. If symptoms persist you can consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
