I have had very bad anxiety for two years now. Is has gotten to a point to where my head will not stop hurting, my muscles are so tight in the base of my skull that my head crunches when I move it. It is an extremely painful consistent ache. My head also starts to shake when my anxiety increases. Please help me to relief this issue. Its effecting my daily life. Thank you.
Anxiety can be treated with medications, relaxation exercises and changing your life style. Try to follow a good life style starting with getting up on time, and going to bed on time, having your meals on regular times. Start with morning walk or some other form of physical activity. try yoga and consult a psychiatrist for meidcations
Hello Welcome here. You are having anxiety and muscle aches. This can be due to generalized anxiety disorder. I can understand your concerns. There are two treatment options: 1. Drugs like escitalopram, paroxetine are used in the treatment. These are antidepressant medicines which also have anti-anxiety effects. 2. Psychological treatments like biofeedback and progressive muscle relaxation techniques are also very helpful.
You can visit a psychiatrist for the proper management of your symptoms. You can also practice deep breathing and meditation to keep your mind and body relaxed.
