Suggest Treatment For Severe Back And Shooting Pain In The Left Leg
My left leg has been giving me a shooting pain when I am standing for more than a couple minutes. About a month back I had a severe back pain out of nowhere, it was hard to bend over or move at times. It went away and not myleg has this shooting pain when i stand for more than a couple minutes and get worse when i walk. The pain goes up and down the leg from my groin area to my calf.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM The pain you describe could be caused by hip/low back osteoarthritis or sciatica....Treatment options for such pains may include: different lines of pain drugs depending on the intensity of pain intensity, myorelaxants, steroids, physiotherapy, surgery. Some of these options may be used together for better results.I will advise you try the following: -Take a pain drug like aceclofenac -A myorelaxant like miorel -Regular fitness exercises -Have your weight under check -You may hire the services of a Physiotherapist. If these measures do the help, you see your Doctor or a Rheumatologist for evaluation. Hope this will help Best regards
