Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

You seem to be having back muscle spasm due to weight lifting. It usually happens as you may not be a regular weightlifter. Treatment is rest on the hard bed for 3 to 4 days. Avoid forward bending and weightlifting. Start muscle relaxant tablets twice a day with an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen for five days. Hot water fomentation also helps.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jayesh Vaza
