Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain And Numbness In The Hands
My name is Deborah, Im 53 years old.im healthy but over weight 230lbs/5-7/ since saturday morning i ve been experiencing numbness/tinkly i my both hands. and a very bad upper back pain. shoulder to shoulder. I have been working as a mail carrier for 19 years and I use my both hands to sort/delivery mail, but the numbness in my hands is terrible, and so is the upper back pain, it get worse when im sleeping.my last physica; was in January and everything was ok

Hi Deborah, Advancing age brings a lot of changes in our body most of which are weakening our physical strength and stamina. Considering all the parameters you mentioned, I would suggest you should consult a neurologist for further evaluation. Your work might demand you a posture that is hurting your spine and causing all these symptoms. MRI would help to diagnose the problem and you might even need bed rest for ample amount of time. maintaining the correct posture and avoiding strain to the spine would prevent further damage to your intervertebral discs.
