Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain In An Elderly Person

I have had skin nerve pain for a week from the left side of my back, under my left arm to by left side. I have no rash. Is there a rash always associated with shingles. I am a 61 year old female, in great health. My skins is sensitive to the touch.

Shingles is associated with rash and painful blisters. Pain on left side of back can occur due to various reasons like trauma, muscular pain, etc.i suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus management.
