Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain That Radiates Towards The Toes

I m having terrible pain in my lower left back and hip which runs all the way down to my toes. The pain is almost as bad as when I had kidney stones it has built up over the last couple of days but got really bad last night and has been very difficult for me all day today although I did go to work. I have been taking ibuprofen and using a heating pad. What do you suggest?

thanks for posting your query to hcm.
As I understand it could be because of some muscle sprain . It leads to development of tissue odema causing nerve compression thereby causing radiating pain . Second thing may be due to spinal disc damage .
initially you can take NSAIDS along with some muscle relaxant for pain relief . Start physiotherapy under guidance of a physiotherapist .
if not relieved by all above measure , consult to a orthopedic surgeon .

hope it will help you .
