Particularly in the evenings after 4pm. Subsequently gets fever with heat flashes. A pain killer and paracetamol can help manage. But more with diclofenac. She underwent hepatico jujunastomy in1996 followed bt PTBD in2010. Advised not to use moch pain killers. Her wt.55kg, ht.5 . She is diabetic since 2 years and using glynase mf 1-1and oglibose 0.3mg after food in the night. Her sugar levels ,fbs aron 135 and plbs around 180. Right now she is being managed with amitone 10 and ultrtab when ever pain is there. Gemfos also being used. However we could not find much improvement. Kindly advise.
I understand your concern and I will be glad to answer it for you.
Reading your history, I advise to consult a psychiatrist, and you start on anti depressants. These are not only for depression, but they have dual effect of pain relief as well as not making her depressed.
Continue Gemfos, but you need to limit ultratab, diclofenac and paracetemol.
Instead of using pain killer tablets, go for pain killer ointments.
