Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have experienced pain in my back the will move from my lower back to between my should blades and ribs, recently it started there as normal but this time move to my chest, I have also experienced pain in my buttocks and limbs. I was given a ecg, results were normal, my blood test showed no inflamation markers and no ruemetiod issues. This pain comes and goes over the course of weeks some times months with small periods of relative good health. I have trouble sleeping and am often worn out and tired constantly during these periods of pain as well as sometimes being virtually debilitated because of the depth of the pain
This symptom of pain the mid-thoracic region is inter-scapular muscle spasm and weakness of the paraspinal muscles.
It may be due to bad posture or may be due to degenerative changes in the lumbar spine as well. Pain in the hip and limbs are due to radiating pain from the lumbar spine.
I will advise you to take an MRI and wait to see what results it provides. I don't think you have any issue with the heart.
If it's due to lumbar spine then with physiotherapy you should be recovered well in 2-3 weeks of time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
