Suggest Treatment For Severe Balance Problems

I am having a lot of issues with my balance. I have fallen several times in the last month or so. I fell in the house twice & up the steps & this last time down a flight of stairs. I was a horrible fall. I am bruised everywhere, very stiff. I think i might of broke a couple toes. I am concerned about falling so much.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You should get detailed neurological examination and work up done as soon as possible with EEG and MRI brain. Holter monitoring and echocardiogram to rule out any cardiac cause should also be done. Examination for cerebellar cause of vertigo or ear related issues like BPPV should also be ruled out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
