I m 52 and have had hep c for twenty five years now...my stomach has grown to the point that I honestly look 9 months pregnant... my left side hurts terribly.I ve gained 60 pounds in the last two years and I ve always been my whole life till now..my legs go numb constantly and also my arms. Is my liver shutting down?

kindly get an ultrasound abdomen and liver function tests done. your weight gain might be due to fluid accumulation(ascites).in case ascites is present,ascitic tap has to be done along with treatment of your liver condition. further management would depend on the reports of the investigations.
