Suggest Treatment For Severe Burning Sensation While Breathing And Asthma
I suffer from asthma, however I have not had issues for quite some time while working out. I just came from a workout though and I had severe burning while trying to breathe, which seemed to go all the way up and down my esophagus. While I felt like I could not breathe because of the burning sensation and shortening of airways, it did not seem to be the normal symptoms of an asthma attack. What could this mean?
It seems like you are suffering from gastritis along with asthma. please let me know that you taking any medicines for asthma on empty stomach. Some medicine causes increased acidity as a side effect. Take antacid like Rabeprazole to get relieved from burning sensation. Take Asthma medicine after meal to avoid these side effect.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pramod Kokare, General & Family Physician
