Suggest Treatment For Severe Burning Sensation While Urinating

Hi there, I m a 21 year old male and I ve been receiving a burning sensation when I urinate, This has been accuring for several weeks now. Iv been through a 48 hr course of cystopurin however still no luck. I havnt been that over concerned about it until last night when I had a pain like I needed to urinate, so I went to the loo but nothing came out but 2 drops. I then shake of and I get another drip this time I look down to see a small blood clot like thing floating in the basin. This horrible burning pain has continued since yesterday, including through the night and this morning leaving me both last night and today with a sickness feeling in my stomach aswell.I know that It probably has no concern however around an hour ago I went to the loo and my poo was green, I understand this is probably likely to be something to do with my diet however with everything else going on ATM with my health, it raised more of a concern therefore pushing me to seek for advise. Hope to hear from someone soon thank you .

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, for such recurrent infections you should get a urine culture done to isolate the causative bug so that antibiotics may be aimed at that particularly.

Ultrasound KUB may also be needed. Using citrosoda sachet can also be helpful for symptomatic relief. If blood persists renal function tests and renal ultrasound is recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
