Suggest Treatment For Severe Chest Pain While Suffering From Asthma

Hi my son is 7 years old and suffers from asthma he often gets real sick and complains of chest pains and these pain last through the whole night keeping him up, I give him ibuprofen and cough syrups but nothing seems to work, the pain just won t go away.

Chest pains are not common in children. Asthma can cause chest tightness feeling and it might be related to it because asthma is generally worse at night and this might be a sign of uncontrolled asthma.

It is important to have a check with his doctor and check the child to make sure which is the cause of the pain and get the proper treatment.
